ebog housekeeping
not dead yet
Apologies about the long interregnum, but I’ve been on the proverbial dayjob hustle the last month or so, helping out NPR’s mid-day news magazine Day to Day with a web project. In addition to helping the editorial team think through their online strategy, I’m updating their new blog, Daydreaming, which is a look at the state of the California Dream during lean economic times. Come on by and visit.
Things have actually slowed down enough over there for me to think a bit about the eboggery, so more in a bit. I've also got work coming in Bidoun and on TheRoot.com, so keep an eye peeled.
thanks seo-expert
Just wanted to thank ramiro of the SEO Expert Blog for the snippet of Drupal code that now links usernames to comments. I broke the ebogblog trying to make that work earlier. :(
update your rss reader, plz
hey all,
can you update your rss reader so that it points here, plz?
there's also this:

thanks!
I just wanted to thank you for making a donation to ebogjonson.com/me. I'm a self-employed, independent contractor type, so every little bit helps. Your donation isn't just a financial boon, though, but it's also a practical reminder for me that there are folks reading who care enough to make a tangible contribution.
Again, thank you!

blogrollery
I'm messing around with Drupal's news aggregator, with an eye towards using it as a blogroll. Don't get your knickers in a bunch if it seems that I have left you off. Everyone who was on the old blogroll (plus lotsa nifty new folks) will be linked to once I have the hang of the new system. That said:
i'd like to thank the economy
While the site was down, I got giffordized. Sweet!

What's there to say, except whatever there is (and will be) to say? I moved the site from Movable Type to Drupal partially because I found the most recent MT upgrade rather annoying, partially because I'm having a late-life conversion to the church of open source, and partially because I'm working on a Drupal site in real life. (Nothing like having your own private playground.)
